Carsten Sander’s digital podcast “Datalicious” returns on January 31, 2025, with its fifth season – for the first time, under the auspices of BCN. With a new design and a consistent release schedule, the new edition offers exciting insights into the world of digital advertising. A new podcast episode will be released on the last Friday of every month on all popular streaming platforms.
Datalicious remains true to its DNA: Together with experts and leading figures from the digital sector, Carsten Sander, who became Chief Technology Officer at BCN in January, discusses topics that are shaking up the advertising world. His guest on the new season’s first episode is Christian Zimmer, Managing Director DACH at Teads until the end of April. Carsten Sander talks to him about outstream advertising, and why the combination of video and context can be an innovative key to brand safety campaigns in the open web.
"Datalicious is a platform for exchanging ideas, trends, and expertise. Since starting the podcast five years ago, I’ve had the privilege of welcoming many exciting guests and learning their perspectives on the industry’s hot topics. I am delighted to continue this passion project at BCN – and I’m looking forward to the guests and conversations that await us in the fifth season!"
Carsten Sander launched “Datalicious” in 2020 in his role at digital publisher BurdaForward. In each episode, he speaks with leading experts from the advertising and AdTech ecosystem about relevant digital technologies, AI, and online advertising. His guests have included Ulli Hegge (CEO European netID Foundation), Daniel Neuhaus (Vice President DACH The Trade Desk), Norman Wagner (Managing Director Germany Utiq), and Carlos Bracho (Vice President Global AdTech Axel Springer).
Starting January 31, 2025, the first episode of Datalicious season 5 – “Outstream as a brand safety solution for the open web” with Christian Zimmer – will be available on all major streaming platforms.
