Expanded executive team leads BCN into the future

The three BCN shareholders have decided to further develop the management of the cross-media marketing company. The core competencies of customer proximity and technology are now installed directly in the Executive Board:

Susanne Müller, previously Chief Commercial Officer, is Executive Director Markets. As such, she is responsible for developing the operational and strategic business with advertising agencies and with BCN’s more than 3,000 active clients.

Carsten Sander, as Executive Director Technology, will drive the further development of BCN’s proprietary AdTech system BCN Smart Stack and the automated booking of ads into print inventories. As part of the cooperation with BurdaForward, Carsten Sander has been Chief Technology Officer of BCN since January 2025. 

Tobias Conrad head of and spokesperson for the BCN Executive Board, is responsible for overall strategic management. 

Since the beginning of 2024, BCN has been the joint marketing organization of the media companies Burda, FUNKE, and KLAMBT. In its first year as a joint venture, BCN expanded its marketing portfolio to include the media of Olympia Verlag and the digital offerings of KLAMBT and Delius Klasing. At the same time, the digital publisher BurdaForward assigned BCN the responsibility for its whole inventory.

This new leadership structure meets the growing requirements due to BCN’s increased tasks as well as the market’s technological developments.
