Berner Zeitung - Always region first

The Berner Zeitung is the leading subscription daily newspaper in the canton of Bern. The core competence of the regional newspaper is extensive regional reporting and sports events. The Berner Zeitung is published in three regional editions: City, Emmental and Oberaargau (Langenthaler Tagblatt). The Berner Zeitung reports on cantonal and regional events together with the Berner Oberländer and the Thuner Tagblatt. The Berner Zeitung emerged from several traditional daily newspapers in the canton of Bern, which date back to well into the 19th century.  Readers look for information about what is happening in the region - whether politics and the economy, the environment and society, or sport and entertainment.
