For more than a century, Delius Klasing Verlag has been one of Europe’s leading special-interest trade publishers in the water sports, cycling, and automotive segments. As a specialist in these areas, the publisher is active in every media format. YACHT, BIKE, and TOUR, the highest-circulation magazines for each of their target groups, all operate under the umbrella of Delius Klasing Verlag, which has been part of the KLAMBT media group since September 2022.
Since the KLAMBT media group became part of the BCN shareholder family on January 1, 2024, BCN will now also be taking over the marketing for seven digital versions of Delius Klasing Verlag’s regularly published magazines. The websites generate 9.9 million page impressions a month (IVW, as of February 2024).
Tobias Conrad, Managing Director of BCN, comments, “Delius Klasing Verlag is one of the oldest publishers for special-interest topics. YACHT is a long-standing favorite of sailing fans, while cyclists love BIKE and TOUR. We are very pleased to be taking over digital marketing for this well-established publisher, with its high-profile magazines and loyal readers. The media brands focus on a male target audience, generally with a higher income. They will round out our portfolio for this target audience, which includes ADAC, Playboy, and Focus as well as titles from the gardening segment. This will expand our digital advertising inventory – especially in combination with print, it will further strengthen our cross-media campaign management capability, including programmatic and environment planning from a single source.”
Tim Ramms, Managing Director of Delius Klasing, adds, “With BCN, we now have the right partner at our side, contributing the experience we need to expand the digital marketing of our magazines. We are already well positioned, and in the future we hope to benefit from BCN’s wide reach across every sector.”
